The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service had planned to host a volunteer work day Saturday to remove some wildlife barriers and other work at the section of the Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge off Hatchineha Road in Polk County.\n<\/p>\n
That effort has been canceled until further notice because of the shutdown that has furloughed staff.\n<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, another report revealed that Trump is ordering staffing of any federal refuges that are necessary to allow scheduled hunting seasons.\n<\/p>\n
