It will have better parking and improved access.<br \/>It is the latest in a series of projects to improve public access to Polk&#8217;s major lakes.<br \/>Lake Buffum, at 1,543 acres, is Polk County&#8217;s 11th largest lake.<br \/>Polk officials voted to purchase the five-acre site in 2017.
